Breast milk is so good that babies do not need anything else, not even water.
       There are two types of waste generated in the hospitals :-

1. General waste.
2. Bio-Medical waste.

1. General waste :- General waste are non-infected waste. General waste is again seregrated in two types i.e. Biodegradable & Non Biodegradable.
  • Biodegradable :- These are food items, papers, peels of fruits etc. kept in green bucket-I & sent to municipality  for disposal.
  • Non Biodegradable :- These are non infectious any plastic materials, office platics, etc collected in green bucket-II & sent to the recycle unit.

2. Bio-Medical waste :-  BMW means any waste which is generated during the diagnosis, treatment or Immunization of human beings or animals or research activities pertaining there to or in the production or testing of biological or in health campus. These waste are highly infectious and seregrated & collection & disposal are accordingly BMW Rule 2016.
  • BMW segregation at each point of use as per BMW Rule - 2016.
