GNM Training School : Tinsukia
Eligibility criteria for admission in GNM:
- Minimum age for admission will be 17 years as on 31st December of that year. The upper age limit is 35 years. For ANM and for LHV there is no age bar.
- Minimum education should be 10 + 2 passed in Arts or Science stream with aggregate of 45% marks.
- Those who have cleared 10 + 2 vocational ANM course from the school recognized be Indian Nursing Council.
- 5% relaxation is permitted to SC/ST/OBC students.
- Students should be medically fit.
The Director of Health Services, Hengrabari, Assam conducts written entrance examination (GNMEE) for selection of candidates for admission into GNM course in both Govt. and Private Institutes every year by advertising in local & state newspapers and Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences website www.ssuhs.in. The selected candidates are sent to each district from DHS to Office of The Principal, GNM Training School, Tinsukia after counseling.
PROGRAME: GNM Nursing.
AFFILIATION: Affiliated with Assam Nurses' Midwives' & Health Visitors' Council (ANC).
N.B. Upon completion of the courses, the undergraduates receive a Diploma & Registration Certificate from the ANC, Guwahati.
